The Meditex Digital Sanitiser Station comprises of 2 parts being
1) 21.5-inch interactive Android tablet (with touch screen) and
2) Automatic sanitiser dispenser which is capable of dispensing sanitiser in the form of gel, foam, or liquid.

The Meditex Digital Sanitiser Station comes equipped with many standard features including 10 point capacitive touch screen, automatic sanitiser dispenser, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and remote controller.
The additional options that can be added include 4G connectivity, Remote Content Management (RCM), Remote Hand Wash Monitoring (RHWM), Printer and Body Temperature Detector. These options will need to be determined prior to placing your order and will incur an additional fee
The Meditex Digital Sanitiser Station comes with built in Wi-Fi network connectivity, but can also be optioned with a 4G sim card slot for cellular connectivity. Extra charges may also be charged by your 4G cellular network provider for the 4G connection. The 4G connection will generally not be required where the Meditex Digital Sanitiser Station is placed in an area that has a reliable Wi-Fi service.
There are a number of ways that you can create, edit and manage display content on the Meditex Digital Sanitiser Station. You can either use the Remote Content Management software, use your own software (as long as it is Android compatible) or create content on an external device such as a USB stick or SD card and save this onto the Meditex Digital Sanitiser Station’s 16GB internal memory.
The Remote Content Management software is a customised cloud-based tool that allows you to create, edit, upload and manage content as well as provide information on sanitiser activity. This content can be static images, slide shows, video, social media feeds, live news or a combination of all of these. The Remote Content Management software can also be used to replicate content across multiple devices all from a single location.
Remote Hand Wash Monitoring is another feature of this software that provides real-time information on the dosages of the sanitiser dispensed. The software can also be configured to notify by email when the refillable bladder requires a refill, or, change the content on the display screen when the user dispenses the sanitiser. The Remote Content Management and the Remote Hand Wash Monitoring tools are an optional extras and an annual fee applies to access these tools.
No – you will not need to pay the annual fee if you do not wish to use the Remote Content Management and the Remote Hand Wash Monitoring tools. You may wish to create, edit, manage, upload and edit your display content using your own software or via an external device such as a USB Stick or SD Card, however you will not be able to monitor your sanitiser usage.
The Meditex Digital Sanitiser Station has 16GB of internal memory. If you have display content saved on an external storage device such as a USB stick or an SD card, you can simply insert these into the dedicated ports and the display content will be copied to the Meditex Digital Sanitiser Station’s internal memory. The external storage devices can then be removed.
If your Meditex Digital Sanitisation Station is optioned with the Remote Hand Washing Monitoring software you can extract real-time or historical information on the dosages of the sanitiser dispensed. This can be extracted and presented in a csv file format for analysis.
We offer an option for a built-in thermal line printer that can dispense tickets or coupons for businesses utilising queuing systems (or similar). This will be charged as an optional extra if required. The cost applies to the hardware only and the customer will be responsible for any software required to operate the printer.
Yes –The Meditex Digital Sanitiser Station can be optioned with an in-built temperature monitor if required which can be pre-set with temperature thresholds. When the temperature is registered, the body temperature is displayed on the screen and a warning can be shown when the temperature exceeds the pre-set threshold. This feature can be turned on or off at your discretion. There is an additional one-off cost associated with this option.
Yes, the device runs off the normal 240V power point that we have in Australia.
Our refill bladders hold 3 litres (3,000mL) of sanitiser liquid.
Yes – The Meditex Digital Sanitiser Station can dispense gel, foam or liquid sanitiser and comes with 3 spray nozzles to suit all of these sanitiser types. There is also a built-in drip tray to ensure minimal mess.
Our large 3 litre refillable cartridges can be filled with liquid, gel or foam. Most sanitisers on the market only have a 1 litre capacity so the Meditex bladder will provide significantly more longevity before requiring a refill. The number of sprays you will get out of a full 3 litre sanitiser bladder will vary depending on the type of the sanitiser liquid used, however as an approximate guide:
Gel – dispenses 1.5mL/time = 2,000 dispenses in total
Spray – dispenses 0.3mL/time = 10,000 dispenses in total
Foam – dispenses 0.4mL/time = 7,500 dispenses in total
Liquid – 2.0mL/time = 1,500 dispenses in total
Yes, these can be sold separately but they are very easy to refill. A new bladder will cost $25
Yes, we do sell hand sanitiser, please see our shop.
At this stage we do not provide a refill service however we plan to do so in the near future. Refilling the bladder is a very quick and very simple process.
The Meditex Digital Sanitiser Stations come in their standard colours of Black, Gunmetal or Bronze (DSSF-PRO) and white (DSSW-PRO) however they can be 100% customised with your branding, graphics and colours. This will typically be done using a vinyl wrap. Meditex can arrange this on the customer’s behalf for a fee or the customer can choose to coordinate this on their own. The customer will be responsible for creating and approving the artwork where applicable.
Yes – the warranty period is 12 months from the date of purchase.
